Big Bug Bundle: Ladybug, Bee, Butterfly
Meet Harold the Ladybug, Gladys the Bee, and Enid the Butterfly! Together they make up the Big Bug Bundle, a pattern where three different insects are created from the same basic body shape. This pattern has simple shapes that make it great for beginners. Plus with three different finished products, it’s three times as rewarding. This project uses small amounts of many colors, making it a great stash buster as well.
Can you believe that there are over 6 million species of insects on the planet? Small but mighty and often overlooked, insects are capable of amazing feats of strength and agility. They also play important roles in our ecosystem, from making new life by pollinating plants to breaking down dead matter to speed up decay and enrich soil. Butterflies and bees are pollinators, helping to fertilize plants. Ladybugs are fierce protectors who eat other bad bugs that would damage plants. Together, Gladys, Enid, and Harold are superheroes who help gardens to bloom.
