Knitted on the bias in two complimentary colors, this project makes for an relaxing knit. Each side edge has a different look and the long length lets you play with your styling options.
Talking about options: Make it longer or wider by simply adding/reducing stitches to the width and adding/omitting repeats of your colored sections.
Measurements: Length 95” (240 cm), width 13.5” (34 cm) unblocked Level of Expertise: Easy
Yarn:
C1 — Tutte, a variegated fingering weight cotton yarn, 2 skeins at 187 yards (170 m)/50 grams in color “Happy Place”.
C2 — Linen, a fingering weight linen/viscose yarn, 2 skeins at 192 yards (175 m)/50 grams in single color “Coral”.
Alternatively use a fingering weight yarn, C1: 365 yards (334 m), C2: 380 yards (348 m).
Notion: US size 6 (4 mm) circular needle 29” (70cm) in length
Gauge: 16 sts and 26 rows in 4” (10cm) knitted in Stockinette, unblocked
Techniques: Knit, purl, yarn over, decreases, color changes, bias knitting.
