Bezgalība top
Bezgalība is infinity, and this is the third version that I have knit. I am an XL now, but the same top looks great on my 15 year old XS neighbor. She even wanted to keep it, a true complement from Gen Z. While knitting I knew that I wanted something special for the cuffs. Luckily I remembered the beaded wrist warmers that are all the rage in Latvia. They are the perfect finishing touch, or as we say “odziņa”, the berry on top that makes something extraordinary. The light cuff has 2 bead colors. The dark cuff has 3 bead colors because I realised that if carefully counted and strung, it is so much easier to keep track while knitting a 3 color pattern.
XS/S/M(M/L/XL) in photos I am an XL, girl is XS we are wearing the same M/L/XL top
The top works best if the stitch and row count measurements are even, so adjust needle size as necesary. You can use 1, 2 or 3 different bead colors per cuff. If you knit a contrast cuff it may require different bead colors for the pattern to stand out.
Sample in M/L/XL used 8 skeins of Spiral Grain light worsted Jacaranda, and 2 skeins of Blue Spruce for the contrast sleeve. Both models, and XL and an XS are wearing the exact same top.
