Better Together is the first design in the You & I Shawl Series. It uses two of my Birthstone Yarns (Ruby and Diamond).
Shawl is worked from the bottom up. Only one color is worked at a time on each row (no stranding).

You & I Shawl Series
I’ve become increasingly obsessed with using color in my knitting. 2 or 3 colors makes even the simplest patterns and stitches so much fun! I caught the color bug back in the Spring when I started putting together the SongLines collection. Then in the Summer I had this idea to create colorways based on the birthstone for each month. This led to the crazy idea of 12 (lace) shawls to be released monthly in 2014, but it also led to the creation of the You & I shawl series. The You & I series is a 4-pattern shawl collection meant to bring together the Birthstone colors of you and a loved one, or two loved ones, or your pets, or anyone and anything important to you. Perhaps you met other half in February and were married in April and want to use your anniversary month colors.
