Designed for the Three Irish Girls Yarnista Sock Club, pattern is now available to the public!

Blooming in spikes of mauve flowers like the stacked floral motifs of this sock, the wildflower Betony is endangered and protected in Ireland. Trickling accent patterns suggest that a brief summer thundershower has just passed over a rare field of flowering Betony.

The sock is worked from the toe up and features asymmetric toes, mirror-imaged patterning, arch shaping, and a flap-and-gusset heel shaped using short rows.

Stitch patterns are CHARTED ONLY.

Sample socks used 315 yards of one 350-yard skein.
