This is Bertine. She is one of the U.T.I.s. In fact, she is the only girl in the pack. The U.T.I.s are a strange type of creatures. How to describe them? Better not ask. However, they like to say the U.T.I.s are Unique, Tender and very very Intelligent.
Anyway, they love popping in and out of people’s houses. Sometimes, it’s just one of them. Others, all together, the wild bunch.
As I said, Bertine is the girl in the group and her best friends are Lelio and Fitz. She gets away with everything and manages to have everyone do as she pleases! She is so skillful she even has Lelio believe he’s the one taking the decisions. But no. It’s her. Always.
She likes to collect buttons (watch out: she usually steals them!), bake cookies and paint with watercolors.
She has a crush on Ironman and she usually plays the “damsel-in-distress” part, hoping he’ll come to rescue her, but Fitz or Lelio always show up first.
Bertine is a great travelling companion and she fits in most luggage and carry-ons!
A special note: As all other U.T.I.s, she prefers cabin travel. Please do not check-in luggage carrying a U.T.I. Consequences can be unpredictable!

SKILL LEVEL:
EASY. This is a simple and detailed pattern, which was written for beginners too.

FINISHED SIZE:
If crocheted with a 3.00 mm hook, your finished Bertine should measure more or less 23 cm.

SKILLS NEEDED:
Magic ring, crocheting in spiral, single crochet, half-double crochet and double crochet stitches, increase and decrease stitches, color changing and ability to sew multiple pieces together. A bit of embroidery too. Popcorn stitch explained in pattern.
