This is a free pattern on my crochet blog. It is a Granny Square throw inspired by a patchwork quilt style. It comprises of 2 different sizes of Granny Squares, two different sizes of half Granny Squares and four quarter Granny Squares. The pieces are joined using the join-as-you-go joining method. The gauge is 4 rounds of the Granny Square = 8.5cm.
