“Berlin” is a top down shawl.
The first part of the shawl is knit in striped stockinette stitch: I used a silk yarn and a lamè yarn for a modern, yet elegant look. The wide lace border is knit with a very lightweight third yarn. I used a picot bind-off for a sophisticated touch.

“Berlin” è uno scialle lavorato top down.
La prima parte dello scialle è lavorata a maglia rasata a righe: ho usato un filato in seta ed uno in lame per creare un effetto elegante ma contemporaneo. L’alta balza in pizzo è lavorata con un terzo filato ancora diverso e molto leggero.
La chiusura rifinita dal bordo picot lo rende davvero raffinato.
