Beluga Sturgeon
Beluga Sturgeon is the fifth pattern in the Summer of Sea Creatures 2020. This year we are highlighting endangered species. Please join us in knitting and raising awareness about these animals. Tag me @yarnigans or #summerofseacreatures on instagram. Thanks for joining me again for this fifth year of summer of sea creatures!*
Beluga Sturgeon is knitted almost entirely in one piece, with the pectoral fins knitted separately and sewn on. You will have to be able to knit on double pointed needles to make the sturgeon, as well as do basic increases and decreases. The gauge is not super important here, but I knitted mine extra tight because you will need to really stuff it firmly. The tighter the gauge, the better, here.
