Rows of coins, jingling with every movement; veils swirling and the tinkle of finger cymbals, known as “zills”. Bellydance is known in many countries and is enjoying newfound popularity in North America. The pattern used on these socks resembles the coins worn on dancer’s hip scarves and the yarn used, with it’s little touch of silver, echoes the flashing bracelets and anklets that are part of traditional dance costumes. The coin motif continues down the sides of the heel flap and a round toe finished off the design.

This is second in the Dance! sock series… the first will be a wider release in the future.
