Yarn suggestion
This pattern will work best when knit with a 100% wool yarn.

Needles – US size 6 (4 mm) or size to obtain gauge, 16” (40 cm) circular and DPNs.
US size 4 (3.5 mm) or 2 sizes smaller than needle used for gauge, 16” (40 cm) circular.

Gauge – 26 sts and 28 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette colorwork.
A note about sizing and gauge. This is a slightly looser fitting hat, so please check your colorwork gauge carefully using the first 11 rows of the crown chart. Failure to do say may result in a hat that is a little too big.
