The Bella Ciao Cardigan is a stylish allrounder worked flat in pieces. It is knit from the bottom up in squishy Fisherman’s Rib. It features little stylish details like my unique “Tailored Buttonholes”, little decorative slits at the arms and the back of the cardigan. You can follow along my YouTube tutorials to learn about these Special Techniques.
A perfect waistline guarantees a flattering fit in all sizes. It is the classic companion for all year around. It is the perfect match to the “Gentleman Cardigan”.
Sizes:

Finished Dimensions: XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL), 35¾
(36¼, 37¾, 39¾, 41½, 43, 45¼)“ circumference at chest, seamed and buttoned. Intended ease 2-4 inches.

Materials:

Sample is knitted in Woolfolk Strå DK Weight ( Woolfolk Strå 164 yards/150meters/50 grams). Approximately 1564 (1640, 1804, 1914, 2078, 2734, 2406) yards,
1430 (1500, 1650, 1750, 1900, 2050, 2200) meters. Alternatively you can use a DK/Light Worsted yarn that matches given gauge. Swatching is the key.

Gauge: 21 stitches & 44 rows = 4” in Fisherman’s Rib

Techniques : Italian Tubular Cast-On, Italian Tubular Bind-Off, Attached I-Cord, Technique for “The Tailored Buttonhole”. All Special Techniques will be explained in Video Tutorials you have access to.

Der “Bella Ciao” Cardigan ist ein lässiger Strick-Blazer. Er wird im Halbpatent/Fisherman’s Rib von unten nach oben, in Teilen gestrickt.
Die kleinen Details, wie meine speziellen “Tailored Buttonholes” und die Schlitze an den Ärmeln und der Rückseite des Blazers, machen ihn zum Hingucker. Für all diese Speziellen Techniken

XS/34 (90,5 cm), S/36 (92 cm), M/38 (96 cm), L/40 (101 cm), XL/42 (105 cm), XXL/44 (109 cm), 3XL/46 (115 cm). Gemessen wurde nach dem Waschen und Spannen, am geschlossenem Cardigan.

Garn:
Der Cardigan in dieser Anleitung wurde aus der Woolfolk Strå gestrickt (150 m/50 g). 1430 (1500, 1650, 1750, 1900, 2050, 2200) Meter. Alternativ kann ein DK/Light Worsted Garn verwendet werden, das der Maschenprobe entspricht.
Maschenprobe: 21 Maschen & 44 Reihen = 10 cm
