Bell Beck Jumper
My design ideas and advice: This simple garter stitch jumper is perfect for beginners or those who are knitting their first baby garment after a while away from knitting. There have been lots of knitters like that who pop into Purl &Jane’s Skipton studio, most have been away for about 30 or 40 years.
This is a great jumper to start with because it is only two squares and then once you’ve knitted them and got your mojo back then the simple increasing on the sleeves will seem easy to do.
Garter stitch is one of my favourite stitches, it’s the simplicity that makes it so beautiful, especially when knitted in a gorgeous yarn.
This pattern was in the Knitted with Love book, which is now discontinued so here it is as a single pattern.
