Olga is not usually drawn to knitted accessories. However, after seeing a cape that was knit circularly on the internet, she thought she would try designing one. However, Olga felt that
an open front cape with a collar that would echo the stitch pattern would give the piece a more youthful feeling than one knit circularly. Working flat created the challenge of planning the shoulder line. Happily, it all worked out, and just as she set out to accomplish, this lightweight, cashmere cape showcases the detailed travelling stitch pattern, and will provide a light covering on a cool day or evening.
