Beginnings Blanket
The beautiful cables in this blanket are enjoyable to knit and stunning to look at. It will make a beautiful gift or a lovely family heirloom.

Car-seat (Crib, Throw)
Finished Measurements: 23” x 29” (29” x 38”, 44” x 60”)/58.5cm x 73.5cm (74cm x 96.5cm, 112cm x 152.5cm)
Yarn Requirements:
Cascade Elysian (60% Superwash Merino Wool/40% Acrylic; 200 m/219 yds per 100 g) 5(8, 19) balls. Color: Gray 02
Approximately 900 (1600, 3800) yds of light worsted weight yarn.
Needles:
Size 6 (4.0mm) 24” (32”, 40”)/61 (81.5, 102)cm circular knitting needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions:
-Stitch markers -Tapestry needle -Cable needle
Gauge:
32 sts and 28 rows per 4”/10cm in Cabled Pattern.
About 5 sts/4” in stockinette stitch.
The instructions for the body of the blanket are both charted and written.
