Are you ready to knit a quick 2 color brioche hat that is beginner friendly? This hat is designed especially for beginners that want to learn brioche or experienced knitters that just want to knit a fast hat! There are no advanced brioche skills needed as the crown shaping is done with standard decreases.

MATERIALS
US 6 16” (4 mm 40 cm) circular needles.
US 6 (4 mm) DPNs.
1 Stitch marker.
70-135 yards (64-123 meters) of DK weight yarn Color A, this will be your foreground BRK color.

68-130 yards (62-118 meters) of DK weight yarn Color B, this will be your background BRP color.

MEASUREMENTS
16”, 18”, 20”, 22” around x 10 ½” - 11” tall. (40.6, 45.7, 50.8, 55.8 x 26.6 - 26.6-28 cm). Brioche is very stretchy so I recommend 2-4” (5 - 10 cm) of negative ease. Model is seen wearing the 18” (45.7 cm) size with a 22” (55.8 cm) head circumference.

GAUGE
16 stitches and 20 rows = 4” (10cm) in two color brioche stitch on US 6 (4 mm) needles.
