Beekeeper Socks
Beekeeper Socks feature an enchanting honeycomb pattern on the foot and leg. The cables create a cozy fabric, which will quickly make these your favorite socks - they’re like a hug for your feet! The deceptively easy and charming cable pattern is appropriate for men or women. The pattern is equally suited for solids, semi-solids, or speckled yarns. So, pick your favorite sock yarn and cast on!
Construction
This pattern is written for toe-up socks, knit one at a time using magic loop and features a short row heel. All directions assume you are knitting toe-up, one at a time, using magic loop, however it is easy to substitute your preferred sock knitting method, toe, or heel.
Size
S (M, L) = 64 (80, 96) sts, or 5.5 (6.75, 8)“/ 14 (17, 20) cm sock circumference at rest.
Yarn
1 skein of Spun Right Round Superwash Sock 80/20, 80% Wool, 20% Nylon; 400 yards / 100 grams. Sample shown in Bug Jar.
Gauge
12 sts, 14 rows in honeycomb pattern = 1”/2.5 cm unstretched and 9 sts, 12 rows in stockinette = 1”/2.5 cm unstretched.
