Pattern Bundle Promotion! 25% discount when you purchase the Beehive Scarf and Beehive Shawl patterns together!

Inspired by the modernist and post-modernist architectural features of St John’s College, University of Oxford, the Beehive Shawl connects the craft of knitting with often-overlooked details in our surroundings. Knitters have the option to mix and match the provided stitch patterns throughout the shawl to create a unique accessory celebrating the connections between pattern and place! This design is the companion pattern to the Beehive Scarf.

Construction Notes
The shawl is knitted lengthways in one piece. A small rectangle shape is knitted first, followed by an increase section. When the full width has been reached, the shawl continues as a long rectangle, before being completed with decreases and a rectangle mirroring the start. The overall shawl shape is a crescent.

Pattern includes an option for 4ply/ fingering weight yarn, shown in yellow in the photos.
