Beech Leaves on the Trail uses a keyhole opening at one end and long, reversible cables to evoke the look of fall beech leaves littering a woodland path.

Instead of using cable needles, two 5.0 mm (us 8) DPN’s are handy to have in addition to the needles used for the main knitting. The keyhole is closed using a ribbed kitchener graft.
