Bee afghan
Bee’s do so much for us and we are now learning to appreciate them a whole lot more as their numbers are struggling. They are also a sign that Spring is here and I look forward to seeing more of them in the Summer months. Do you love bees too?
I also included one of my favourite flowers - tulips!
The Bee Afghan was designed to perfectly match our Bee Pillow. It is worked up using corner to corner (C2C) If this is new to you we do have a learn to corner to corner mini course on our blog.
Pattern includes block counts for each colour so you can work out yardage needed based on your tension or stitch preference (regular or mini corner to corner). There is also a larger version of the graph included at the end of the pattern if you prefer to use the graph.
Written instructions and graph are included in this pattern.
It is a great pattern for beginners and those experienced with C2C
❤ LAYOUT:
Our patterns all share the same layout which is easy to read and easy to find important information you need, such as materials needed, sizing information, gauge information, and special stitches used as well as how to do them.
❤ SIZE:
My blanket came out at 52” wide by 60” long using double crochets and a 5mm hook so it is a great size.
❤ MATERIALS:
I used a 5mm hook and Caron simply soft for my afghan, with the exception being the grey in the wings where I had to use Paintbox simply aran as there was no grey in simply soft.
This blanket would also look fantastic if you used Paintbox Simply Aran for it all.
