Bed Head Slouchy Hat
There is a mistake in the pattern- Row 6 should not be a repeat of row 2. It should only have one increase and be worked as follows:
Row 6: Ch 3, inc (see stitch guide) in next st, hdc blo into each of remaining sts, turn-- 38 (44, 49, 54) sts.
Difficulty Easy
Finished Size 15.75 (18.5, 21, 23.5)“ circumference; 7.5 (9, 10, 11.25)” long.
Yarn HiKoo Kenzie (distributed by Skacel) (50% New Zealand merino, 25% nylon, 10% angora, 10% alpaca, 5% silk noils): #1002 grey salt, 2 (2, 2, 2) balls.
Hook Size F/5 (3.75 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions Yarn needle; quilter’s pins.
Gauge 20 sts and 12 rows = 4” in hdc blo.
Notes The 23.5” hat may use all of the second skein of yarn. Consider purchasing an extra skein as insurance.
Hat is worked sideways in turned rows. Decreases and increases shape crown.
