“Trixie” to her friends, Beatrix is deceptively easy! This beautifully textured beanie has great character and style. Although it appears to be a difficult cable pattern it’s really a very simple technique that does not require a cabling needle. I have included photos of this technique to help you along.

Finished Measurements
S/M: Circumference at brim band 18” (46 cm) unstretched, 7” (18 cm) in length from brim edge to crown; will fit head circumference of 20” to 21” (50.5 to 53 cm).

L/XL: Circumference at brim band 19” (48 cm) unstretched, 8.5” (22 cm) in length from brim edge to crown; will fit head circumference of 22” to 23” (56 to 58 cm).

Yarn
70 to 80 yds (64 to 73 m) super bulky weight #6 yarn (shown knitted in Glacier, Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick, 80% acrylic, 20% wool, 106 yds/97 m per skein).
