The pattern calls for three skeins of the main color (198 yards) and one (66 yards) of a contrasting color. “Arms”, legs, and ears are knitted and sewn on separately. Because of the fuzzy texture of the yarn, this might prove a bit tricky.

I would only knit with this yarn. I think the nature of it would make crochet extremely difficult. That said, it’s a very soft yarn.
