Beachwalk Hat
*3 styles and 4 sizes*
An easy, casual hat, just right for those days when all you want to do is throw on a headwarmer and head down to the beach for some much-needed me time. A simple, uncomplicated design, suitable for those new to knitting as the only skills you need are cast on, knit, purl, and knit 2 together. Why not knit one in every colour - great as gifts! Get one on and get out there!
Instructions are English/American throughout. Full support if needed - I am always willing to help. Knitted flat on 2 needles and sewn up the back.
Measurements; to fit head circumference - toddler 45.5-48cm/18-19in, child 51-53cm/20-21in, adult 56-58cm/22-23in, large adult 61+cm/24+in.
Actual hat size; round un-stretched edge – toddler 40.5cm/16in, child 46cm/18in, adult 51cm/20in, large adult 56cm/22in. i.e. there is a negative ease of 5-7cm/2-3in.
Length; toddler 26.5cm/10.5in, child 28cm/11in, adult 29cm/11.5in, large adult 30.5cm/12in.
(If you want a longer slouch, then you can add in 2 or 4 extra rows before shaping the top.)

Yarn recommendations are given in the pattern, but any chunky/bulky yarn should be okay.
