Beach Cruiser is knit top-down, in the round, in one piece, with no seaming. The top section is knit in a loose gauge with one strand, while the lower section is knit in a tighter gauge with two strands held together. The interplay of colors in Emma’s Yarn’s Beautifully Basic gives this sweater a fun, youthful feel.

Sizes: XXS (XS, S, M, L, XL) 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL.

Gauge: 17 stitches and 22 rounds = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette stitch on US 7/4.5mm with yarn held double, and on US 8/5mm with yarn held single.

Needles: US 7/4.5mm, or size to obtain gauge with yarn held double; US 8/5mm, or size to obtain gauge with yarn held single; and 1 size smaller than smaller gauge needle.

Notions: 4 stitch markers, scrap yarn, tapestry needle.
