Knitted with a worsted weight yarn, Whidbey should end up about 10 to 12 inches tall. As buttons are used for his eyes and/or for exterior joints, he should NOT be considered safe for babies or small children to play with.

Additional Materials
Stuffing: polyester fiberfill and a few cotton balls to stuff the nose
Nose: 2 inch square of black felt
Threads: Black thread to sew the nose; black embroidery floss to embroider facial features; quilting thread to sew seams and soft sculpture.
Eyes: shank buttons 1/2 to 3/4 inch in diameter.
Joints: Four 1 inch buttons.
