SIZING

All of my garment patterns are #sizeinclusive to fit up to at least a 60” full bust circumference.

FINISHED BUST/CHEST CIRCUMFERENCE:
In inches: (38, 42, 46) [50, 54, 58] {62, 66, 70}
In centimeters: (95, 105, 115) [125, 135, 145] {155, 165, 175}

To choose your size, measure the circumference of your torso around the fullest part of your bust/chest and add at least 6”/15cm.

Note about ease:
Because of the dolman sleeves and relaxed fit, BAY works with an extremely wide range of positive ease (anything from 6-20”/15-50cm). If you prefer more drape or a more oversized fit, feel free to size up! In the photos, Jaq is wearing a size 7 (62”/155cm). Their bust circumference is 54”/135cm, their waist circumference is 49”/122.5cm, and their bicep circumference is 20”/50cm.

YARN

This sweater was designed in Magpie Fibers Equinox (184 yards/168 meters/115g), a 65% silk/35% linen blend with a tight ply and incredibly soft hand. This yarn makes for a luxurious, all-weather sweater with a lovely sheen and drape.

YARN REQUIREMENTS:
Skeins of Equinox: (5, 5, 6) [6, 6, 6] {7, 7, 8}
Yards: (825, 875, 925) [975, 1025, 1075] {1150, 1225, 1300}
Meters: (755, 800, 845) [890, 935, 985] {1050, 1120, 1190|

Other suitable yarns:
Because the recommended yarn is a silk/linen blend, I am recommending mostly substitutions that also include linen and/or silk, so as to achieve a similar sheen/drape. However, many test knitters made beautiful versions from cotton blend yarns (such as Knit Picks Comfy) or 100% wool yarns (such as Malabrigo Rios), which are more widely available at generally lower price points than linen/silk.
