One skein of Zauberball (100 grams) and one skein of Admiral (100 grams) will be enough for both the mittens and the matching hat.

The mittens measure 7.5 inches 
(19 centimeters) around and 8 inches 
(20 centimeters) from the start of the pattern chart to the top.

It has a thumb gusset for a better fit.
