Bat crazy
These little fluttery friends are here to prove that Halloween bats don’t have to be spooky—they can be downright adorable (and maybe a little ridiculous).
With their goofy grins, oversized eyes, and flappy wings, they’re equal parts charm and chaos.
Knit them in any color of the rainbow (or stick with classic Halloween hues, if you’re feeling festive), and watch each one take on a personality of its own.
Beginner-friendly, quick to make, and endlessly customizable, these bats are ready to swoop in and steal the spotlight—fangs and all.
The body and ears are knitted flat in a single piece. The wings are knitted using garter stitch. ( knit every row) with simple shaping at the row ends.
Eyes are knitted separately and sewn on after stuffing the bat.
Simple shaping and seaming make this a quick project to knit in an evening or two.
