1. I used #4 worsted weight yarn I had on hand. So, I used ILTY and Crafter’s Secret, but any #4 yarn will work fine for this project.
2. The hat was made to comfortably fit a 19” - 21” head circumference; however you can easily decrease the # of increase rounds to make smaller.
3. The hoop requires a plastic hoop (mine came from either Dollar Tree or Dollar General) and it measures 9 and 1/2” in diameter.

Easy costume project to complete and then afterwards can be used indoors for the kiddos to play basketball….
