“I found my first J.B. Bean and Associates bear while teaching a workshop at a yarn store in New Hampshire. When the shop owner asked me if I was going to knit a sweater for the bear, I thought it was a great idea. Instructions are written for worsted weight yearn with directions for sport yarn in (). Less than an ounce of yarn required. Needles 6 and 8 (2 and 4). DPNs nos 6 (2). Crochet hook F (E).

Gauge: 18 (24) sts. = 4 inches on larger needles.
