When my husband and I were driving through the state of Utah I kept saying to him, “Wow, that’s amazing”, whenever I would see and interesting rock formation. I began to sound like a broken record.

There was one section of rock that was almost white, very out of character amongst all the red rock. There were pillars of rock above piles of rubble that were above open sand-like desert. That was my inspiration for this cowl that incorporates both sides of one stitch pattern to create varying texture that can be worn right-side or inside out.
