Worked in the Harkonnen house colors, this pattern is meant to depict the Baron’s use of suspensors to give him mobility; round and bulky with supports. Every edge of the sock showcases some sort of suspensor support using slipped stitch or a button band. Pattern is toe up using the “easy toe tab” method and worked in small sections of slipped stitch “suspensors”. Pattern has a slouchy cuff (which will stay up on its own if slouchy cuffs aren’t your thing) to look like belly rolls and button tab. Pattern is then finished with slipped stitches around the afterthought heel which is worked in the “Hat heel” method and finished by grafting stitches together. The sock could easily be worked in just 2 colors (recalculating yardage) or many scraps. The cuff would look cute in a color shifting yarn.
