The Barley Mill Beanie is a modern take on a retro pattern. Crochet some colorful granny squares for the brim, then join them into a band and work the top of the hat in double crochet. Worked with just two skeins of Classic Elite’s gorgeous, colorful Liberty Wool, this hat puts the “hip” in “hippie.”

Yarn - Shown in 2 balls Liberty Wool Print by Classic Elite Yarns (100% superwash wool; 122 yards/ 50g) in color #7828 Stained Glass.

Needles - US 6(G) crochet hook.

Skill Level - Beginner/ basic crochet skills needed.

Notions - Darning needle for weaving in ends.
