This hat resulted from working in bargello knitting nonstop as I found more and more yarns suitable for the technique. I had already done the Bargello Basics Hat 2 and was looking for another way to close the top of a hat. When I started this project, I wound the segment yarns so much longer than necessary that working each one into
I-cord just made sense. This hat had long tentacles until I tied the ends together and stuffed them inside the hat.
