The body of the Barcis Kimono is so easy, anyone could make it! Employing a simple moss stitch (sc, ch 1) to build up the three panels that are later seamed together. Front and back post stitches are used to create a ribbed edging on the front and neck of the kimono, finished off with the reverse single crochet (crab stitch) for a neat, finished look. When using a wool or wool blend yarn, this kimono has incredible stretch and give to it - feel free to block it much larger or smaller than the given measurements! The delicate lace edging is a little more advanced than the body of the kimono, but still not difficult. This pattern is perfect for the advanced beginner, ready for a little more challenge. The free version of the pattern is available on my blog!
