BAO BAO cowl
The BAO BAO cowl is a beautiful companion to the BAO BAO shawl and
the BAO BAO hat and completes this little collection.
For pattern support, please find the questions thread here
The tubular, twisted (Mobius) cowl features the beautiful and fun stitch pattern I used for the HEIMATHAFEN pullover in combination with generous Stockinette stitch sections and a narrow contrasting stripe.
Starting with a provisional cast-on, the cowl is worked in rounds as a tube. First in dip stitch stripe pattern, later in plain Stockinette stitch.
After blocking and after giving the tube a twist (this makes it special and easy to wear), the 2 sets of live stitches (from the provisional cast-on and from the last round we worked) are grafted together.
Color changes for the dip stitch stripe pattern are worked every 4 rounds.
You can adjust the size by adding or reducing the number of stitches by 4 sts or a multiple of 4 sts. Length can be adjusted to your liking. Please note that any change will affect the yardage.
