This wide, triangular wrap, designed for Rowan by Marie Wallin, would make a lovely summer accessory; we can imagine this loosely draped around a floaty dress for a wedding or beach holiday. The richly textured fabric shimmers thanks to the use of Rowan Panama. This yarn, which was launched for the spring/summer 2011 season, is a blend of viscose, cotton and linen, which has a lovely drape and comes in a range of intense, tropical shades. The pattern is worked from the top down, so the project speeds up considerably as each row passes!
