Twisted stitches suggest a wrought iron balcony against a brick façade of reverse garter stitches. A long trapezoid shape worked flat in the ombred colors of Monokrom DK creates an intricate interwoven effect that’s much easier than it looks. The Shawl starts at the bottom wider edge and decreases 2 sts every RS Row.

Note: An I-Cord is worked on both side edges, every Row of the entire shawl. Both RS and WS Rows are worked the same: loosely knit the first 3 sts and slip the last 3 sts purlwise wyif.

Materials: 3 skeins Urth Monokrom DK, shown in 6062
Dimensions: 42”/ 107 cm at top, 62”/ 157 cm at bottom, 18”/

46”/ 117 cm at top, 68”/ 173 cm at bottom, 20”/ 51
cm deep, steam blocked
