This balaclava is inspired by the sunshine and warmth of the South. As a symbol of eternal shine and strength, there is a sun on the nape in a traditional and typical crochet square, known as a granny square. The sun doesn’t stand out as much due to the one color, but you definitely get an interesting pattern and look. If you have several different colors left, play around and make a multi-colored balaclava.

The balaclava is made in two parts; the first part is the hood, and the second is the collar. The parts are joined using slip stitches. The pattern is customizable, so you can choose a completely different granny square, more or less classic, that you like and then repeat the same pattern around it, according to these instructions.
Suitable for advanced beginners.
