Highlights
Bajamar is an oversized, breezy tee knit in DK with a repeated diamond lace pattern edged with a unique eyelet on the body and sleeves. The tee is knit from the lower edge to the underarm, then the front and back are worked separately back and forth. Shoulders are joined with a three-needle bind off. The neckline is finished with the eyelet edge, and sleeve stitches are picked up and worked in the diamond lace pattern with an eyelet edge to mirror the body.
Bajamar is designed to be worn loosely, with a suggested positive ease of 10-20” / 25 – 51 cm. Sample is size 3 worn by designer with a 34” / 86 cm bust.
Skills
Intermediate level. Knitting in the round, purl stitch, increases, decreases, yarnovers and picking up stitches.
