Inspiration
Knitting allows you to create garments in three dimensions. We can take advantage of this quality to create textures that give life and movement to our creations to wrap our little ones in their daily lives and also encourage their creativity. The skirt, bow, arms and legs of the ballerina come to life to become almost a doll embedded in her sweater.

What do you need to know?
To knit, purl, make increases, read charts and colorwork (intarsia). Support videos are also provided.

Materials

• Yarn: Drops Merino Extra fine – 50gr; 105m (115yds). Merino Superwash Wool (100%)
• Amount main color (Color A): 4 (5, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8, 9) skeins of 50 gr
• Total in meters: 420 (525, 525, 630, 735, 840, 840, 945) m
• Total in yarns: 460 (575, 575, 690, 805, 920, 920, 1.035) yds
• DK yarn left overs for the ballerina (Color B: Dress; Color C: Hair; Color D: Skin)
• Other yarn suggestions provided
• Circular 4mm (US 6 ) needle with at least 80 cm cable to work flat
• 4mm (US 6) Double pointed needles or short circular needles to work the sleeves in the round
• Circular 3.5 mm (US 4) needle for the collar
• 4 Markers (Locking markers)
• Tapestry needle

Gauge
In a 10 x 10 cm (4 in x 4 in) square you should have 20 sts and 29 rows. Knit the swatch with stockinette stitch and block it.

Construction notes
The sweater starts at the back. It is knitted starting at the back of the neck and working down the entire backside. The stitches are picked up to knit the front from top-down. After shaping the neckline the ballerina pattern is worked top-down.
The ballerina is the same size in all sizes, but it is centered so that it is well positioned in each size.

Requisitos previos
Saber tejer derecho, revés, hacer aumentos, trabajar con el cambio de color (intarsia). Incluye videos de apoyo.

Tallas
2 (4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16) años. Puedes guiarte también por los cm de anchura de pecho de la prenda 34 (36, 39, 41, 44, 46, 49, 51) cm.

• Restos de lana en DK tejer la Bailarina (Color B: Vestido; Color C: Pelo; Color D: Piel)
• Agujas principales de 4 mm para tejer en plano
• Agujas de 4mm para tejer en circular la manga o agujas de doble punta.
• Agujas circulares de 3.5 mm para el cuello
• 4 Marcadores tipo imperdible
• Aguja lanera

Tejido de Muestra
En un cuadrado tejido de 10 x 10 cm obtendrás 20p por 29 pas en punto jersey con una aguja de 4 mm. Teje la muestra en punto jersey y bloqueala. Es importante tener en cuenta el bloqueo para tomar las medidas correctas.

Notas de construcción
El suéter se inicia en la parte trasera. Se teje iniciando en la parte trasera del cuello hacia abajo todo el trasero. Se recogen los puntos para tejer la parte delantera de arriba abajo. Se da forma al escote y se comienza con el dibujo de la bailarina.
La bailarina tiene el mismo tamaño en todas las tallas, pero sí está centrada de manera que en cada talla quede bien posicionada.
