Bag of Skulls
This bag of skulls holds a lot and is perfect to use while flying because it fits under an airline seat – and the skulls are apotropaic (they scare away evil)! A crochet hook with a handle makes it easier to crochet the tight nylon stitches that produce the sturdy fabric of this reversible bag. You may buy a hook with a handle or make your own.
This was tapestry crocheted with a size 00 steel crochet hook, equivalent to a size E, but much stronger. The hook had a handle, which made it easier to crochet the tight nylon stitches.
Instructions and graphs are included for right-handed and left-handed crocheters. For more about tapestry crochet, please look at my web page.
