Do you have leftover bits of fingering weight yarn lying about? You know what I’m talking about. You fall in love with a beautiful skein and promptly turn most of it into socks or a hat. The rest gets shoved into a jar or bag or plastic container and thrown into the back of the closet until you figure out something else to do with it later. Well, something else is this and later is now.
This pattern was designed to use up leftover bits of yarn from the coordinating hat, but it will work with leftovers from all of you lightweight knits. They’re knit from the top down with the idea that you separate what yarn you have into two balls before beginning and work until you run out.-- Give your leftovers new life!
