The ButterflyLove pdf Baby Supermassive Black Hole (M87) knitting pattern gives you clear step by step instructions. It is suitable for a beginner/intermediate knitter and it’s a very quick knit. You can also contact me at any point if you need technical advice or have any other queries. If working to the recommended tension, the finished plush should be approximately 3 inches (7.5cm) in diameter.

Materials Required:

2 knitting needles (US3/3.25mm or as per tension advice)
5g black double knit (DK) yarn (e.g. Stylecraft Special DK 1002 ‘Black’)
5g yellow DK yarn (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 528 ‘Custard’)
2 black safety eyes (9mm)
Polyester stuffing
1 tapestry needle for finishing
Electric iron or fine blocking wire and pins

Skills used: Casting on and off, Increasing and Decreasing, Picking up stitches

Stitches used: Stocking stitch, Garter stitch
