When my daughter was tiny I was always entranced by her tiny feet and toes, in celebration of this I have made the Baby Steps Blanket.

Little footsteps march up one side of this soft woollen blanket, giving the finished product detailing that will suit boys or girls. This makes it an ideal gift for friends who are expecting but don’t yet know if they are having a boy or a girl.

Simple stitch patterns and an easy pattern repeat keep this knit interesting, while the 8 ply wool ensures that the blanket is done before you get bored with it!

It is also an economical knit, using only 2 balls of Shepherd Crafty 8 ply. Great for stash busting!
