Baby Romper
This summer garment would be suitable for a baby boy or girl. Perfect for a sunny day, or with a T-shirt underneath. It is knit flat bottom up in two pieces and sewn together. The lower parts are shaped by increases and decreases, and the body part is a simple 1x1 rib. Body parts are finished off by a crochet edge. I have used contrasting colors (in fact three: orange for the front, yellow for the back and grey for body and ribs), but it would be lovely in just two colors also, a single color, or maybe stripes? I have chosen 100% mercerized cotton, but any fiber/blend would work nicely with this pattern.
