Celebrate your little one’s release from doing “9 months On The Inside” with the Baby Jailbird Collection. Available as a dress, romper, or footie pajamas, in both fingering weight and sport, these little outfits have been styled with a sense of humor. Knit them as I have, for adorable pictures, or play with any color combinations for a more classic wardrobe addition. The smaller sizes use less than 400 yards, so it makes a great use of a special skein for a special little baby.

The pajamas are knit back and forth initially, then joined in the round. Short rows are used to give a little extra room in the backside for a diaper, and options are given to knit cuffed ankles instead of the footies, which are knit with an afterthought heel.
