This pattern dates from the early 1940s. It was designed by ‘Finella’ knitting expert of Wife and Home Magazine. It is described as ‘Like a real baby: this ‘shortening’ set consists of frock, matinee, bonnet and bootees, with a tiny vest and pilch for underwear’.
