Spud & Chloë Sweater #7515 Cider & #7509 Firecracker

This design began as I tried to fulfill a knitting request from my niece. As I looked around at designs, I realized there were specific things I wanted this cocoon to “do.” And in order to get all the things I wanted included, I was going to have to design it myself. The upper part of the cocoon is knitted incorporating short rows so that the back of the neck is slightly raised. It also includes an after-thought pocket, making this baby bunting (cocoon) the perfect marriage of form and function. The hat is knitted reversing the color pattern — giving it a little more
interest.
